LEADERS/VOLUNTEERS:
- Are encouraged to update their troop status online before Friday, April 15th @ https://www.gsctx.org/en/our-council/forms-and-documents/troop-change-request-form.html going forward as scouts register for annual membership they will “see” the troop opportunities in their area (your troop) and will click to join your troop and then register. GSCTX guidelines suggest 12 members/troop – you (leaders) need to fill out the form to let GSCTX know how many of those 12 spots you want reserved for returning girls and how many of those spots you want “advertised” for new scouts. This is part of the new CEP (Customer Engagement Platform) GSCTX is launching this month – if you have questions about it you are invited to attend a Q&A with GSCTX CEO Lynelle McKay 4/19 @ Kodosky of 4/26 @ ACC Pinnacle both are 6:30p-7:30p. Early Bird Registration opens 4/26.
- Annual troop financial reports are due May 1st – there is a new form this year…Troop Report for Banking Activity (TRBA) https://www.gsctx.org/content/dam/girlscouts-gsctx/documents/volunteers/Troop%20Report%20of%20Banking%20Activity%20Fillable.pdf the form is fillable (and must be filled out online – handwritten reports will be returned) Use your March 2016 bank statement for this report…bring two copies to the May Leader Meeting which has been moved forward one week to April 28th. Question? Con tact LHSU Treasure Diane Northcutt diane2882@aol.com or LHSU Service Unit Director (SUD) Elizabeth Devine elizabeth@thedevines.com All troops must submit a TRBA, late reports = no cookie bonus!

- Old Bee Cave Schoolhouse – the OBCS will be ‘closing’ for the summer, we all need to be “out” by June 1, 2016. We will resume reservations in mid-August – if your troop uses the OBCS and would like to repeat your day/time next year please let me know at your earliest convenience; if your troop would like to be added to the OBCS schedule please also let me know at your earliest convenience so I can get you on the calendar too; email me at lisa-t2124@live.com with your troop info/request, thanks!
