+++++++++++ Girl Scout University – Sat. Apr 2, 2016
We’re excited to introduce the first annual Girl Scout University hosted by the Alpha Rho chapter of Alpha Phi Omega on the campus of The University of Texas at Austin. Girl Scout University is a day for Girl Scouts to learn and explore what STEM is all about by earning badges and interacting with other girls and guest speakers. From learning about nature, to understanding the science behind crime scene investigation, to exploring the math involved in running a business, girls will get an interactive and exciting experience. There are four two-hour sessions throughout the day of the event. Each session will focus on one of many exciting STEM badges being offered. Journey sessions for Seniors and Ambassadors will focus on helping scouts start a Journey book. All materials will be provided except Journey booklets. https://www.gsctx.org/en/events-repository/2016/girl_scout_universit.html
