re post about first aid/cpr class (clarification)
Good morning,
How many of our volunteers are CPR certified? As volunteers of the GS we understand the importance of this life saving skill.
There will be a CPR/AED & First Aid class for Adult/Child, 2 year Certification from American Heart Association offered to attendees 14+. Class size:20
This class will take place on Oct 8th, 6pm @ Craigo Pizza in Lakeway. The cost of this class is $65. (Sign up link provided below-if the link doesn’t work I think you will need to call Jenni directly).
Please feel free to forward this invitation to anyone that you think it will benefit. This full course is appropriate for scouts and scout leaders, Life Guards, teachers, social workers, nannies, babysitters (over 14 years old), parents, grandparents or anyone else who wants to learn and/or require Certification in CPR/AED & First-aid.
Jenni Rahn is a certified Red Cross Basic Life Support instructor. She has also graciously offered to teach a CPR/First Aid Basics training class (non-certified – geared for a younger audience) at our GS #1394 troop meeting. She is also offering this class to any GS Troop in our district. In addition to learning a lifesaving skill that will empower our girls, it will help them earn their First Aid badge.
Regarding troop meetings, please contact her directly at 408.390.8724.
We Thank You,
Jan Perez
