This is a reminder that the deadline to enroll in the CSA Journey is Friday 2/2. We have 21/46 people signed up so far. We cannot regsiter more than 46 girls. The event is open Council wide so if your girls want to attend, please have them regsiter asap. Here is the sign up link:
The permission slip is attached. I will also need a copy of your Scout’s Health History. Troop leaders should have current copies of this. The cost of the Journey is $45. The girls have an opportunity to do High Ropes. The cost is $15 extra if they choose to participate. This is Journey requirement for Seniors. First Aid/CPR Class is also a requirement for Seniors. I have a class set up on February 3, 9-11am at Spirit in the Hills Lutheran Church. The cost is $25 paid to CPR Resources at the event. Here is the link to regsiter for that:
We will have a planning meeting for the Journey on 2/3 at 7pm. Planning for the campout is a requirement for all levels. If girls are not able to attend, I will have a way for them to participate in the planning, but I encourage everyone doing the Journey to attend.
I am still scouting a location for the meeting on 2/3 . If you have any ideas, let me know asap.
Girls who cannot attend for the whole weekend can still attend, but they won’t receive credit for the Journey until they have completed all requirements. I will have checklists for everyone to make figuring out what was missed easier.
